John Krupar is a Six Sigma Academy Executive Consultant, delivering operational excellence and business transformation training and execution services. As an Executive Consultant, he focuses on inspiring new management thinking by challenging conventional wisdom through the application of business process improvement tools and methodologies. Six Sigma Academy believes that for any business improvement initiative to be successful, it has to start from the top. Mr. Krupar has the unique ability to engage and inspire senior leaders to change the organization using fact-based, data-driven methodologies.

Mr. Krupar joined Six Sigma Academy as a full-time instructor in September 1999, with four previous years of related experience at General Electric. As a Master Black Belt instructor, he leads Executive, Champion, and Leadership sessions designed to align business excellence projects with an organization’s corporate strategy and goals. He has in-depth knowledge of the application of Six Sigma and integrated Lean Sigma in the areas of Human Resources, Communications, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Legal, and Industrial processes in a wide variety of industries ranging from financial services to automotive manufacturing.

At GE Transportation Systems, Mr. Krupar was among the division’s first dozen Master Black Belts to receive certification. He created internal programs for Black Belt training and project selection processes, and coached and mentored the division’s first group of Black Belts. Eventually Mr. Krupar took Six Sigma training to GE suppliers, working directly with the senior managers at the most critical suppliers to ensure the sustainability and success of the program. Following his Master Black Belt assignment, he was promoted to lead the America’s Parts Marketing Organization within GE, where he ran a $200 million Profit and Loss business in 1997 and 1998. In 1999, Mr. Krupar served as the sourcing manager for the Global Services Organization of GE Transportation Systems.

Prior to his employment with GE, Mr. Krupar worked for Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Co. where he held various positions in management and logistics from 1990-1994. Mr. Krupar served in the United States Army from 1985-1990, concluding his military career as a headquarters troop executive officer in South Korea. He was second in command of an organization whose mission included all administration and logistics for moving and supporting hundreds of pieces of military equipment including helicopters, trucks, and tanks.

Mr. Krupar is a dynamic, effective speaker who has spoken before numerous groups; most recently, The American Corporate Counsel Association (ACCA), DRI, NAPM, and is a regular presenter at The University of Southern California Marshall School of Business Executive MBA class.
